We specialise in beauty therapy from waxing to sports massages in Warrington.
Our philosophy is that "if you look good —you will feel good" and that can be achieved just from an eyebrow reshape to one of our treatment packages.
We are situated in a very accessible area just outside of Warrington Centre, close to all the major motorway routes and away from the busy traffic of Warrington Town, with ample "free" parking immediately in front of our door.
Health Matters offers an extensive range of treatments, delivered by friendly fully qualified therapists with years of experience. Health Matters can also offer you specialised treatments such as permanent hair removal, skin rejuvenation, acne & psoriasis treatment (LHE light, heat, energy), sports/remedial massage and non invasive Mesotherapy. Plus special evenings dedicated to Facial Botox and Filler and Semi Permanent Make up.
In addition to this we have Monthly special offers which can be sent to you personally via Face Book. Vouchers for treatments or packages can be purchased in the salon or can be posted to you.
Basically, the sports massage we provide is an amalgamation of various different massage techniques that are customermized to your affected muscle groups based on the activites that you have performed and/or took part in.
There are two types of sports massage that benefit different athletes, it also depends on where you are in your continued training and competition you take part in and when you schedule your appointments.
Just as consistent enhancement is the reason most athletes continue to train during their off-season, cross-train with other athletic activities, put in hours in the health club, and push to train through all kinds of conditions. Simply as you can validate hammering up hillsides on the bike, or training in the pouring rain to boost your efficiency, those are the very same reasons to get an excellent sports massage. After a sports massage, your body will feel more versatile and effective, the annoying aches and discomforts can be resolved, and you can help in reducing the possibility of injury.
It depends on your sport, how active you are, and the strength of your training schedule. A lot of expert athletes have sports massages three to four days a week, amateur and college athletes usually as soon as to twice a week. Typically, an athlete should get one massage per week or a minimum of one per month. For those of you that are weekend warriors, we would strongly recommend at least twice a month, because your training isn't really a regimented as amateur or expert athletes, and your body will take longer to recover. The variety of suggested massages might seem severe, however massages go a long way to help prevent injury.
